Synchronisation of 5 coupled metronomes performed in Lancaster University - I know, sounds exciting enough to put you to sleep but seriously, this sh#t is hypnotic and awesome - How the hell do those little metronomes do that - WTF ?

The movement caused by the momentum of the Metronomes cause them to all synchronize eventually. That's my theory.
